What are you going to do?
As a project engineer, you are responsible for managing and supervising technical engineering projects from start to finish. You combine in-depth technical expertise with project management skills to design, implement and ensure innovative solutions in our operational processes.
- You design and implement innovative technical solutions that are in line with practice.
- You advise on technical applications and translate customer wishes into concrete design proposals.
- You monitor the technical progress and planning within projects.
- You check designs for completeness, feasibility and compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
- You record design changes and identify risks in the design or realization process
- You are the point of contact for technical questions and, where necessary, independently research solutions.
- Works closely with the business office and assembly to ensure that solutions are embedded in a sustainable way.
- You are the technical point of contact for colleagues and external partners.
What are we looking for?
- A background in mechanical engineering or a similar technical field.
- Experience with 3D CAD software and designing technical installations.
- An eye for detail, but also for the bigger picture: manufacturability, standardization and customer needs.
- Proactive attitude: you see opportunities to do things smarter, more efficiently or better
- A structured and critical way of working — you leave nothing to chance.
- Project-based insight and the ability to monitor and report technical progress.
- The ability to think and act across departments in the interests of the organization as a whole.
- Focused on process improvements, you coordinate with sales engineers and take the initiative for process improvement within the team.
