Flexible filter choice for industrial dust extraction

Three filters, one dust extraction system
Our latest product, the Dustmaster Series, has flexible filter choice built in. It supports three types of filters:
- Filter bags
Filter bags are suitable for long-duration processes with low to medium dust loads. They clean effectively through mechanical cleaning or compressed air and are available in a range of materials: from standard polyester to high-temperature versions for higher process temperatures. - Filter plates
Filter plates are designed for situations with large quantities of dust, including sticky applications. They are resistant to abrasive substances and widely used in processes such as recycling, metalworking or the food industry. With an average service life of five years and the largest filter surface of the three types, they offer a high TCO advantage. - Filter cartridges
Filter cartridges are compact and efficient, and ideally suited for dry fine dust and light applications. Their pleated structure provides a large filter surface in a small footprint. They are cleaned via jet-pulse cleaning and are easy to replace.
Filter choice determines more than you think
The choice of filter significantly affects how easy a system is to maintain. A filter that is difficult to change increases maintenance time and therefore the likelihood of deferred maintenance. A filter that doesn’t suit the dust in your process leads to faster saturation, higher pressure drop and reduced performance.
With a dust extraction system that supports multiple filter types, you are free to base the choice on what is technically best for your application – not on what the system allows.
Filter replacement: from the dirty or clean side
The Dustmaster Series offers the option to change filters from the dirty or clean side, depending on the model. In environments with strict safety, dust exposure or hygiene requirements, it is possible to carry out filter changes without entering the clean side or shutting down the installation completely. This saves time, reduces exposure to dust and simplifies the maintenance process.
A system that grows with your business
The Dustmaster Series is modularly built: from capacity to filter choice. This means that a system that perfectly suits your process today can be adapted later if requirements change. New dust type due to a process change? Different filter class required due to tightening regulations? The flexible design makes this possible without having to replace the entire system.
That is what Kiekens means by future-proof industrial dust extraction: a system that grows with your business, without compromising on performance or efficiency.
Which filter suits your situation?
Which filter is best depends on the type of dust, process temperature, desired maintenance strategy and regulatory requirements. Our specialists are happy to help you determine the most suitable filters for your situation. Get in touch with one of our specialists for tailored advice.
Yes. The Dustmaster Series is modularly built, including when it comes to filters. Does your dust type change or do you have different maintenance requirements? The system adapts without needing to replace the entire installation.

That depends on the configuration. The Dustmaster Series offers the option to change filters from the dirty or clean side, which in many cases makes filter replacement possible during or shortly after production — without entering the clean side.
